An original concept cosplay!
Princess Peach has always been one of my favorite characters, since I was brought up on the N64, but she just seems bland to me at my age now. I was always inspired by the works of art I've seen portraying Peach in a completely badass light, so I decided to try out my own concept! None of this was drawn out, it was just kind of a whirlwind of props and madness. 
I love the way the entire thing turned out; it's become my favorite costume! 
I made it to wear to Asylum, a convention celebrating the darker side of fiction, but it turned out to be kind of a bust... 
Since there was no one for my favorite group of photographers to shoot, they dragged me off to an abandoned parking garage for some amazing shots on this spiral stair case! 
It was rusty and rickety, but totally worth it for the shots. 
The crown was made out of a piece of craft foam, the shoulder koopa shell was made out of expanding foam, the chain chomp was made out of a giant christmas ornament..
the chain was bought for $5 at Walmart, and the dress was sewn using a Simplicity pattern.
